Content Marketing Trends to Boost Your Lead Generation Efforts in 2025

As we move into 2025, content marketing continues to evolve, and so does the approach to effective lead generation. The digital landscape is becoming more competitive, and to stay ahead, it’s essential to understand and implement the latest trends. Here’s a look at the top content marketing trends for 2025 that can supercharge your lead generation efforts.
1. Embracing AI-Driven Content Creation and Personalization
Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming how we create, distribute, and personalize content. In 2025, expect AI to play an even more significant role in content marketing. By using AI-powered tools, marketers can analyze vast amounts of data to understand customer preferences and create personalized content that speaks directly to their needs.
How it boosts lead generation: Personalized content increases engagement, captures attention, and nurtures prospects effectively, leading to higher conversion rates.
2. Investing in Video and Interactive Content
Video content has been on the rise for years, but in 2025, interactive video and live-streaming will be more important than ever. Interactive elements such as clickable links, quizzes, or polls embedded in videos create a two-way experience, engaging viewers more actively.
How it boosts lead generation: Interactive content captures and holds user attention, providing deeper insights into customer preferences and encouraging lead form submissions.
3. Focusing on Content Experience
Content experience is all about presenting information in a way that is not only engaging but also provides value. This includes optimizing how your content is displayed across platforms, ensuring seamless navigation, and incorporating multimedia elements that keep readers engaged.
How it boosts lead generation: A well-crafted content experience retains visitors on your site, reducing bounce rates and giving you more opportunities to capture their interest with lead magnets.
4. Leveraging the Power of Podcasts and Audio Content
Podcasts and audio content are gaining popularity as consumers look for convenient, on-the-go ways to consume information. Incorporating audio content in your strategy allows you to reach audiences who may prefer listening to reading.
How it boosts lead generation: Podcasts can build brand authority and create a loyal following, ultimately driving listeners to your website or encouraging them to sign up for newsletters, gated content, or other lead-generating offers.
5. Implementing Data-Driven Content Strategies
Data is at the core of effective content marketing. With advanced analytics tools, marketers can identify which types of content drive the most engagement and conversions. This enables more strategic, data-driven decisions about what content to create, where to publish it, and how to promote it.
How it boosts lead generation: By focusing on content that resonates with your audience, you increase the chances of attracting qualified leads, streamlining the customer journey, and optimizing resources.
6. Emphasizing Long-Form, In-Depth Content
While bite-sized content is popular, long-form articles, guides, and eBooks provide in-depth insights that establish authority and trust. In 2025, content that dives deep into topics will be crucial for brands looking to stand out and build credibility.
How it boosts lead generation: Long-form content tends to rank higher on search engines, bringing in more organic traffic and nurturing potential leads by answering detailed questions that can build trust.
7. Expanding into Niche Communities and Content Platforms
More brands are targeting niche online communities and platforms like Reddit, Quora, and specialized forums to share expertise and interact with audiences in a genuine way. This helps brands tap into smaller but highly engaged communities that often have unmet needs.
How it boosts lead generation: Niche communities provide access to highly targeted leads, allowing brands to build relationships and convert community members into prospects.
8. Optimizing for Voice Search and Conversational Content
With the growing adoption of smart speakers and voice-activated assistants, optimizing content for voice search is becoming essential. Voice search queries are often longer and more conversational, so adjusting your content to match these patterns can improve visibility.
How it boosts lead generation: Optimized voice search content can drive more organic traffic from voice queries, making it easier for potential leads to discover your brand and convert.
9. Incorporating Sustainability and Social Responsibility
Consumers today are increasingly concerned about sustainability and social responsibility. Brands that address these topics and show a commitment to ethical practices can connect with audiences on a deeper level.
How it boosts lead generation: Purpose-driven content resonates emotionally with audiences, fostering loyalty and increasing the likelihood of attracting leads who share similar values.
10. Prioritizing Content Distribution Channels and Partnerships
Creating great content is only part of the equation — knowing where to distribute it is equally crucial. By focusing on high-value channels and partnering with influencers or relevant brands, you can amplify your reach and drive more qualified leads.
How it boosts lead generation: Strategic partnerships and focused distribution can expose your brand to new audiences, building credibility and expanding your lead pool.
Final Thoughts
As the digital landscape continues to evolve, staying ahead of these trends is essential for maximizing your lead generation efforts in 2025. By embracing personalization, investing in new content formats, and refining your distribution strategy, you’ll be well-equipped to attract, engage, and convert leads effectively. Stay adaptable, leverage data, and most importantly, continue creating valuable content that speaks to your audience’s needs.

Choosing the Right Direct Inward Dialing Provider: Key Factors to Consider
Direct Inward Dialing (DID) is a powerful tool for businesses looking to streamline their communication systems and improve efficiency. However, selecting the right DID provider can be a daunting task with so many options available. Here are the key factors to consider when choosing a DID provider to ensure you make the best decision for your business.
1. Reliability and Uptime
Why It Matters: Reliable communication is crucial for any business. Frequent downtime can lead to missed calls, frustrated customers, and lost revenue. What to Look For: Check the provider’s uptime guarantees and read reviews to understand their reliability track record. Look for a provider that offers at least 99.99% uptime.
2. Coverage Area
Why It Matters: Depending on your business needs, you might require local, national, or international DID numbers. What to Look For: Ensure the provider offers DIDs in the regions where you need them. Some providers specialize in certain areas, while others offer global coverage.
3. Scalability
Why It Matters: As your business grows, your communication needs will evolve. What to Look For: Choose a provider that can easily scale with your business. This includes the ability to add new numbers, increase call capacity, and integrate with other systems as needed.
4. Pricing Structure
Why It Matters: Cost-effectiveness is crucial for maintaining a healthy bottom line. What to Look For: Compare pricing models, which can vary widely among providers. Consider setup fees, monthly fees, and per-minute rates. Look for transparent pricing with no hidden charges.
5. Features and Functionality
Why It Matters: Additional features can enhance your communication system and improve efficiency. What to Look For: Evaluate the features offered by the provider. Key features might include call forwarding, voicemail, SMS capabilities, call recording, and integration with CRM systems.
6. Customer Support
Why It Matters: Reliable customer support ensures that any issues are resolved quickly, minimizing disruption to your business. What to Look For: Look for providers that offer 24/7 customer support. Check reviews for feedback on their response times and the quality of their support services.
7. Security
Why It Matters: Protecting your communication systems from breaches is vital for maintaining privacy and compliance. What to Look For: Ensure the provider implements robust security measures, including encryption, fraud detection, and compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR or HIPAA.
8. Ease of Integration
Why It Matters: Seamless integration with your existing systems can enhance efficiency and reduce the learning curve for your team. What to Look For: Verify that the DID provider supports integration with your current VoIP systems, CRM software, and other communication tools.
9. Quality of Service (QoS)
Why It Matters: High-quality voice and data transmission are essential for professional communication. What to Look For: Ask about the provider’s QoS protocols and how they ensure clear, uninterrupted calls. Look for features like bandwidth management and traffic prioritization.
10. Trial Period and Guarantees
Why It Matters: A trial period allows you to test the service before making a long-term commitment. What to Look For: Choose a provider that offers a free trial or a money-back guarantee. This gives you the opportunity to evaluate their service quality and suitability for your business needs.
Conclusion
Selecting the right Direct Inward Dialing provider involves careful consideration of various factors that impact reliability, cost, scalability, and overall functionality. By evaluating these key aspects, you can choose a provider that not only meets your current needs but also supports your business’s future growth and success.

How Auto Dialers Can Increase Call Center Productivity
In today's fast-paced business world, call centers play a vital role in customer engagement and support. They serve as the frontline for businesses, connecting with customers and addressing their needs. However, the effectiveness and efficiency of a call center depend on various factors, one of which is the technology it employs. Auto dialers Software are one such technology that has revolutionized call center operations. In this article, we will delve into how auto dialers can significantly increase call center productivity.

Understanding Auto Dialers
Before delving into the ways auto dialers enhance call center productivity, it's essential to understand what auto dialers are and how they function.
An auto dialer is a computerized system designed to automate the process of dialing phone numbers and connecting agents with customers. These systems use algorithms to make calls from a predefined list of numbers, and they can operate in several modes, including preview dialing, predictive dialing, and progressive dialing.
Preview Dialing: In this mode, agents have the opportunity to preview customer information before making a call, allowing them to prepare and personalize their interactions.
Predictive Dialing: Predictive dialers use advanced algorithms to predict when an agent will become available and dial multiple numbers simultaneously. The goal is to connect agents with live calls as soon as they finish their current conversations.
Progressive Dialing: Progressive dialers call one number at a time and only dial the next number when an agent becomes available. This mode provides a slower but more controlled approach to outbound calling.
Improving Call Center Productivity with Auto Dialers
Now that we have a clear understanding of what auto dialers are, let's explore how they can enhance call center productivity:
Increased Agent Efficiency
One of the primary advantages of auto dialers is the significant increase in agent efficiency. With predictive dialing, agents spend more time talking to customers and less time manually dialing numbers or waiting for calls to connect. This improved efficiency translates into a higher number of calls handled by each agent, leading to a boost in overall productivity.
Reduced Downtime
Auto dialers minimize downtime for agents. Instead of agents waiting for the next call to come in, predictive dialers keep them engaged continuously. This not only maximizes their productivity but also keeps them focused on their tasks, reducing idle time and boredom.
Enhanced Call Management
Auto dialer Solution offer sophisticated call management capabilities. They can prioritize calls based on various factors, such as customer preferences, call history, and agent skills. This ensures that the most critical calls are routed to the most suitable agents, improving the quality of customer interactions and increasing the chances of successful resolutions.
Efficient Lead Management
Call centers often rely on extensive lists of leads or potential customers. Auto dialers can seamlessly integrate with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, allowing for efficient lead management. Agents can access customer profiles and call histories, enabling them to provide personalized service and improve the chances of successful conversions.
Compliance and Monitoring
Auto dialers come equipped with features that ensure call center compliance with regulations such as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). They can automatically scrub call lists against "Do Not Call" registries and record consent for telemarketing calls. Furthermore, these systems enable call monitoring, allowing supervisors to assess agent performance, provide real-time feedback, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Increased Reachability
Auto dialers can significantly increase reachability. In predictive dialing mode, they continuously dial numbers, ensuring that agents are always engaged with live calls. This means that a call center can reach a more extensive customer base in a shorter amount of time, increasing the potential for sales, support, or survey interactions.
Real-time Analytics and Reporting
Auto dialers provide real-time analytics and reporting features that offer insights into call center operations. Supervisors can monitor key metrics, such as call volume, agent performance, and call outcomes, in real-time dashboards. This data-driven approach allows for quick decision-making and the ability to make adjustments to optimize productivity.
Challenges and Considerations
While auto dialers come with a host of advantages, it's essential to be mindful of the various challenges and considerations they entail. Here's a comprehensive overview to provide you with the information you need.:
Regulatory Compliance : Call centers must be vigilant about adhering to legal and ethical standards when using auto dialers. Failure to do so can result in regulatory fines and damage to the brand's reputation.
Call Quality : Although auto dialers increase call volume, maintaining call quality is essential. Agents should still provide excellent customer service and avoid rushing through calls to maximize productivity.
Agent Training : Proper training is crucial when implementing auto dialer technology. Agents need to understand how to use the system effectively and how to manage customer interactions in an automated environment.
Scalability : Call centers should choose auto dialer solutions that can scale with their growing needs. Scalability ensures that the system can adapt to changes in call volume and business expansion.
Data Security : Protecting customer data is paramount. Call centers must implement robust security measures to safeguard sensitive customer information from potential breaches.
Conclusion
Auto dialers have become indispensable tools for modern call centers looking to increase productivity and efficiency. These systems automate the dialing process, reduce agent downtime, enhance call management, and offer real-time insights. However, their successful implementation requires a commitment to regulatory compliance, call quality, agent training, scalability, and data security.
In today's fiercely competitive business environment, where fostering meaningful customer engagement is paramount, call centers that leverage the capabilities of auto dialers can make substantial enhancements to their operational efficiency. Through the optimization of agent performance, reduction of idle time, and implementation of more effective call handling strategies, auto dialers enable call centers to not only deliver outstanding customer experiences but also achieve elevated levels of productivity. part one
streamer!James Potter Masterlist & series masterlist
°˖✧✿✧˖°
James is fucking nervous. Probably more nervous than he’s ever been in his life and of course it’s over a fucking girl.
But this isn’t just any girl. She’s the girl. The girl whose pictures he’d jerked off to for most of his teenage years. The girl who he’d imagined in almost every fantasy since the first time he saw what her tits looked like.
The girl who is coming over to his house right fucking now.
He’d cleaned the house from top to bottom three times. James wouldn’t consider himself a slob, but he’s certainly not a neat freak. He just doesn’t want her to think he’s gross, he really doesn’t want to fuck this up. In his journey to impress her, he found himself cleaning parts of his house he didn’t even know existed. He’d exhausted himself to the bone the last few days, fueled by anxiety and the chance to (maybe, possibly, someday) fuck his favorite pornstar.
So now, everything is done, the minutes tick by and James sits on his couch with his leg shaking as he chews on his nails. His eyes are dialed in on the street, and he spots the moment your car pulls up.
He jumps up, opening the front door before you even have a chance to knock.
“Hi,” He says, and his voice cracks in the most embarrassing way. He watches you adjust your bag on your shoulder, a light smirk appearing on your pretty lips. God, those lips.
“Hi, handsome,” You greet, pushing past him to enter his house. He watches as you take everything in, and seeing you in his house takes his breath away.
He shows you around, eyes hardly leaving your figure at all. You seem to brighten excitedly when he shows you the stream setup.
“Oh! It’s not that different from the pod!” You say, flipping your hair over one shoulder as you lean over and reach out to touch his mic stand. His eyes trail drown your body again and he swallows thickly, his hands itching to reach out and touch you.
“Hey,” Your voice interrupts his thoughts, teasing and light. Your eyes are glowing with delight when James’ finally raise back up to meet them, and James finds himself turning bright red. He clears his throat, scratching the back of his neck, and looks at the streaming setup to avoid looking at you.
“L-Let’s just get ready for stream, we only have about an hour…”
stream title: playing GTA V with @yourusername
“Alright, love. This joystick moves you forward, and this one you can look around.” James explains, pointing to each knob on the controller.
You sit cross-legged in his spare gaming chair, nodding at his instructions despite the confused upturn of your eyebrows. “Okay, but how do I shoot my gun?”
James snorts, pointing to one of the buttons on the controller. “Here. But don’t go around just shooting because-”
You’re already shooting. You laugh, almost maniacally, as bullets fly and hit random cars and NPCs. You get three stars almost immediately. James glances at you out of the corner of his eye, lips pursed as he holds in his own laughter. His chat seems to love you already.
prongsupmyahs: yooo is that yourusername??? 🤤 f3r4lb1t6h: her laugh lmaoooo better than her moan too maraudersfan420: you’re doing great, sweatie
James sets the two of you up to try a heist mission. You spend far too long planning your heist outfit, and James lets you while he stares at you with heart-shaped eyes. The chat bullies him relentlessly, especially after you catch him staring and send him a wink.
wormtail4mepls: omg??? 👀 00_robin: y’all fucking or what prongsupmyahs: hey notice me yourusername pls baby I could make you so happy
“Wait!” You gasp while James is speeding down the road on the way to start the mission. “Stop! Stop!” James does, he slams on the brakes and watches as your character climbs out of the car. His eyes dart over to your monitor, watching as your character sprints in the direction you just came from.
Your face breaks into a mischievous grin, eyes alight with mischief. “You didn’t tell me there would be a strip club!”
James is forced to follow you into the club, watching as your character explores each room. You whoop and cat-call at the virtual strippers, which has chat going wild. It gets worse when one of the strippers does a move on the pole that has your head tilting and your lips parting in a way that leaves James breathless.
“I think I could do that.” You say. James thinks he might die if you try, and chat clearly feels the same.
rayzorrai: holy fuck prongsupmyahs: do it i will literally do anything plz 🙏 timl0ng_: hi prongs, hi chat, helloooo yourusername 😜
When he finally wrangles you into doing the mission, several hundred dollars wasted at the club and another outfit change later, he learns that you are simultaneously completely dedicated to the mission and also so easily distracted.
The two of you have to restart the mission dozens of times, either because of you dying or because of you killing an NPC that you shouldn’t. If it was anyone else, James would be so frustrated he would be ripping out his hair. But it’s you, and so he finds himself smiling and laughing and enjoying it all the same. He’s happy to be sitting next to you.
The chat loves it too, obviously. Some mock your poor gaming skills, but most find your enthusiasm (and cleavage) makes up for the lack of direction or actual progress. James finds himself completing the mission mostly alone, while you run around trying to shoot at things.
He can’t help but adore you more and more every second.
When that “Mission: Passed” screen finally pops up, James doesn’t have a chance to celebrate. Because you are already celebrating. You stand, cheering loudly and shaking your ass in a way that makes James’ jaw drop and he immediately gets hard. Everyone in chat is too given the amount of messages flying by.
myb4biPads: 🥵🥵🥵put that on twitter prongsupmyahs: saved a clip for later cxtxkem13: 💸cheer100 💸cheer100 💸cheer100 💸cheer100 💸
You finally sit down, brushing your hair off of your shoulders as you lift yourself to cross your legs underneath you. You give James a bright grin. “Back to the strip club!”
“The strip club?” James raises a brow.
“It’s not a real victory unless we get bitches, James.”
James watches as you readjust your bag on your shoulder, heading for the front door. He doesn’t want you to go, obviously. His chat loves you, already begging him to have you on again. At the end, someone even sent in a donation suggesting you join the marauders on their next game night.
“Oh!” You’d said, “Yes, your friends! They should come on the podcast!” All of his followers seemed excited at the idea, and you promised you’d invite on the entire Marauders crew to spill all of their dirtiest sex secrets.
“Are you really going to have the boys on?” James asks now, and you tilt your head up to look at him. He inhales sharply, his heart skipping a beat. Sometimes your face will move a certain angle and his brain will be flooded with images of you naked, hips grinding, your head tilted just like that.
“Yeah!” You say, completely unaware of his dilemma, “I think that would be fun! Don’t you think?”
“Um… yeah!” James tries to sound enthusiastic but all of the blood in his body is rushing to his cock and away from his brain. You notice, the corner of your mouth raising just a bit.
“You alright?” You ask him, eyes scanning over him as you seem to so easily figure him out. You read him like a book, like it's second nature.
“It’s just…” He swallows thickly, “sometimes I look at you and I can’t help but see you… you know.”
“Naked? Covered in sweat and fucking myself on a dildo?”
“Jesus!” James chokes on his own spit, starting to cough. You’re so forward, he never gets used to it.
“I know, it's okay!” Your smile is sweet, but there’s a glint in your eyes that has his stomach churning, especially when they trail down his body again. “Do you… want help with that?”
The whole world stops. James is sure he really did die.
“You- I- Huh?”
You chuckle, a hand coming up to your mouth for a moment as your eyes meet his again. “Do you want me to blow you?”
“Are you serious?” James feels like he’s having an out of body experience when you nod and smile.
“I wouldn’t offer if I wasn’t serious.” You say.
“Holy fuck, yes.” James finds himself dizzy when you take his hand and lead him to the couch, kneeling between his legs. You pause.
“Do you have your phone?” You ask softly as you reach for the button on his pants. It takes him a moment to register your words, his brain overwhelmed.
“Uh- Yeah, I… I think.” He chokes out.
“Film it, so you can watch it again later.” You say, lowering the zipper and maneuvering to free his cock from his boxers. “Just for you, though. No sharing.”
James’ hands shake as he digs his phone out from his back pocket. He has to lift his hips and you raise your brows, a teasing smile on your lips, giving him that look he knows he could picture with his eyes closed.
“Jesus, fuck.” He manages to press record and he hopes his hands aren’t shaking so bad that he won’t get every detail. Because he’s going to rewatch this so many times, he’ll rub his dick raw.
You spit on your hand, wrapping it around the base, and smile up at him. He’s already leaking just from him looking at you like this. His breaths start to get shaky as your hand slowly begins to pump up and down the shaft. When you lean forward to lick his cock, tracing a vein with your tongue, his head falls back against the couch. He’ll be forever grateful that you suggested he record this.
You gently wrap your lips around the head of him, tongue tracing over the tip. James hisses and his hips buck just a bit.
“Sorry,” He says instinctually, really trying not to fuck this up.
“‘s alright, baby,” You pull back just enough to reassure him, and James lets out a whine, biting his lip so he won’t cum just from you calling him baby.
You take him into your mouth slowly, relaxing your throat as you push forward until your nose is against his pelvis before pulling back. You begin a slow rhythm, bobbing your head while sucking your cheeks in. The fingers of his free hand tangle in your hair, broken whimpers and almost-sobs leaving his lips.
“Shit, ah- you feel so good.” His hips jerk a bit again and you hum at the unexpected movement, but don’t choke. The vibration makes James hiss, and he grips his phone so tight in his hand that he has white knuckles, capturing the whole thing.
You quicken your pace, tongue swirling around him as your fingers move to fondle his balls, gently squeezing and playing with them. James’ mouth is open, his eyes squeezed tightly shut as he tugs at your hair. He tries to watch, he really does, but it feels so fucking good and a lot of his focus is set on keeping the camera on you. He doesn’t seem to have much control over the rest of himself.
“Ahh, mmmh,” James’ hips buck up into your mouth, his face contorting into a silent sob. Every nerve in his body is on high-alert, and he can feel himself getting close.
“‘m gonna cum,” His words come out just as whiny as his moans, about two octaves higher than normal. “Where… Where should I…?” He lets his question trail off as his eyes roll back again. His peak is approaching so fast, and then you pull away. He lurches himself to sit up, worried he did something wrong, but you’re still between his legs.
“Where do you want to cum, James?” You ask, and the sound of your voice will haunt him every night for the rest of his life. He can’t help but shiver, hissing as he holds back his release just a little longer.
“I…” He shakes his head, curls sticking to his sweaty forehead. “On your tits.”
You smile with a knowing look, easily tugging off your shirt. The sight of you, in your bra, kneeling between his legs, is enough to do it for him. He finishes as soon as your hand returns to him, hips thrusting into your fingers as the thick whiteness of his cum lands over your boobs. He groans your name, just like he used to in the shower.
When his ears finally stop ringing, you’re cleaning yourself up. You smile at him, then stand, leaning over him to press a gentle kiss to his cheek. James manages to end the recording and stand up right as you’re approaching the front door again.
“You’ll have to get your friends to agree to the pod.” You tell him, leaning back against the door for a moment. “Mostly so I have an excuse to see you again.”
“I will,” James says, and there’s a moment before he moves forward, a hand coming to your lower back as he presses his lips to yours. Softly, and just for a moment. You blink up at him with eyes so pretty after he pulls away that his heart aches.
“I really like you.” He says, holding the front door open for you as you step outside. You blow him a kiss.
“I know.” You say, giving him a wink and a wave as you step out of his front door. “I’ll be waiting for your call.”

Hey girly! I was thinking, how would the bat boys react to their partner doing the “My boyfriend just told me he doesn’t love me anymore” all because they told them that they couldn’t shop on Amazon anymore? 😂😂😂
Honestly, if you pulled this prank, they’d all spoil you beyond reason just to make sure you never feel unloved again
How they would react to their partner doing that "My boyfriend just told me he doesn’t love me anymore" prank :
Dick Grayson :
Golden retriever boyfriend energy? On maximum panic mode.
He literally short-circuits. You say, "He told me he doesn't love me anymore…" and Dick’s gorgeous blue eyes go wide like saucers.
“WHAT?? WHO??”
"You."
Dick: “ME?! Babe, no — no, never, absolutely not. What did I say? Was it the Amazon thing? Fine! Fine, you can buy everything you want! New yoga mat? Sure. That pink rhinestone water bottle you showed me? I'll get two. A pool float shaped like a flamingo? I'll get a whole flock!”
He’s already speed-dialing Alfred like,
“Hey, I need you to open the family credit card, it’s an emergency.”
probably ends up shopping with you just to make it up.
Jason Todd :
Jason, oh Jason. This man lives in emotional trauma territory already.
So when you drop that line?
Oh baby, you see the panic behind those stormy eyes.
He tries to play it cool, leans against the door frame, arms crossed, but his voice drops lower, serious.
“…What do you mean, I don’t love you anymore?”
You: "You said I can’t shop on Amazon."
Jason: *Pause. *Blink. *Another blink.
Then suddenly: “That’s not a reason to pull the nuclear code, Angel face!”
He probably huffs dramatically, pulls you into his arms, kisses the top of your head, and mutters:
“Fine. You want Amazon? Buy it all. I’ll help you blow up Bezos' bank account personally.”
Secretly though? He is already scrolling through your wishlist to surprise you later.
Tim Drake :
Tim.exe has stopped responding.
You hit him with the line, and this poor, sleep-deprived genius malfunctions.
“…Wait. Wait. Hold on.”
He frantically replays the conversation in his mind like a crime scene.
“I just-I only said no to Amazon because you ordered seventeen planners last month! No, wait, I didn’t mean it like that, please don’t cry!”
Ends up apologizing so profusely you start feeling guilty.
Tim: *shoving his credit card in your hand like it’s a peace treaty
“Just take it. Take it, and my soul, apparently.”
He later codes a bot that auto-buys everything in your wishlist. Because he’s that whipped.
Damian Wayne :
Ohhh boy.
Damian is furious at first.. not at you, never at you. but at the situation, because how dare anything make you sad.
“What nonsense are you speaking, Beloved? Who has dared say such a thing?”
You: "You did. You said I couldn’t shop on Amazon anymore."
Pause.
He stiffens, narrows his eyes, and clenches his jaw like a prince ready for war.
“…Clearly, I have made a grave tactical error.”
Immediately, he opens his black card wallet, holds it out to you like a king offering tribute.
“Here. Empty the vaults. Bleed the empire dry if you must.”
And then pulls you into the most passionate, possessive embrace as if you might disappear.
He tells Alfred to build you a private Amazon warehouse at the manor. Just for you, cuz you're his babygirl <3

Weapon Expert Danny Todd from Jason Todd's POV
This amazing idea came from @unadulteratedsoulsweets
Part 1 Part 2
Jason was starting to get worried. He had called his husband's phone a few times since his patrol started and he hasn't heard anything back. Jason knew someone had called in and asked about setting up an appointment for tonight. But Jason thought it would've been over by now.
So Jason called the phone Danny only used in the workshop. It felt like ice water had been poured on him when it went straight to voicemail. Jason quickly shoved his phone into his pocket and took off towards the current safe house he was using.
When he arrived Danny wasn't there. After looking around Jason noticed a few things were missing that Danny usually took with him to meetings. So that let Jason know Danny hadn't come back from the meeting. That made things worse. He didn't know where the meeting was or which workshop Danny would be using.
Jason took a deep breath. Trying to calm his mind. He pulled out the burn phone he uses specifically for Danny. His wonderful husband had made it for him. They both have one and it only works for them. Jason dialed the only number. His heart racing faster and faster as the dial tone continued. He swore loudly when he reached the voicemail.
Something wasn't right. Danny always answered this phone. Always. Jason turned on his coms and took another deep breath. "Oracle... I need you to look for someone. Please." There was a short silence. Before there was a clicking sound. "Who am I looking for?"
Jason took another deep breath. Trying to steel his nerves. "Danny... Daniel Jonathan Todd. He goes by Danny though. He owns a gun repair shop. Called Phantom Guns." There was a stunned silence. "Todd... As in your brother Todd or?" Jason shook his head. "Oracle please. I'll explain later."
"Jason what's your relationship?" Jason bit his tongue at the grouchy sound of Bruce's voice. "None of your business old man." Jason quickly snapped. "Jason if you want help looking for this guy we need all the information." Jason bit back a sarcastic remark. "Fine. He's my husband. Happy? Now can you please focus on finding him?"
There was a heavy silence before everyone was yelling questions all at once. Only for Oracle to snap at them to quiet down. "Jason I found something but I don't think you'll like it." "Whatever it is please. I need to find him. I don't have a good feeling." The coms were quiet before one of his phones beeped.
"There's a break in and mention of an unconscious male that is fitting the description of Danny." Jason's heart stopped before he raced off. Jumping from roof to roof. Jason could barely hear anything except his heart beat. Could someone have called Danny out and attacked him?
No. Danny can usually take care of himself. Jason had made sure of it. He knew the dangers of being with a Wayne child. Adopted or not. Especially with Jason. With what he does at night, not to mention Danny's talent with almost any gun. They both had huge targets on their backs.
Jason was snapped out of his thoughts when he saw the smoke rising into the sky. It was like the air was knocked from his lungs. He almost tripped when he landed on the closest roof but he managed to catch himself before he quickly ran to the edge.
Jason felt his heart sink at the site of one of Danny's favorite workshops looking destroyed. Jason's body moved on auto pilot. He jumped from the edge, landing on the dumpster and quickly made his way to the kicked in door. Jason went to enter before a hand gripped his shoulder.
Jason grabbed the hand to flip the person before his was pulled into a familiar chest. "Calm down. You need to think before you barge in. In case there's a trap or anything of the like." Jason involuntarily followed the order before shoving Bruce away from him. He straightened up and pulled out his favorite Glock. The one Danny had remade for him.
Jason raised the gun before turning on the heat sensor of his helmet. "I only see one body on the ground. Unconscious most likely." He switched off the heat sensor before turning on the night mode. Jason carefully entered the shop. Making sure to look where he was walking.
He froze momentarily when seeing the unconscious figure. There was a good sized puddle under him. That shirt.... That dark hair. The matching ring. "Oh my god. Danny!" Jason rushed over dropping his gun and quickly removing the helmet. He checked for a pulse. He relaxed slightly. It was weak but he had one.
Jason rolled him over and felt the air leave his lungs once more. Jason quickly ripped off his jacket and pressed it against Danny's stomach. "Call an ambulance! He's-His-" Jason sniffed. Feeling tears fill his eyes. He flinched when a rough hand gripped his shoulder. Jason looked up, meeting Bruce's determined look and hesitated before moving slightly.
Bruce bent down. Carefully removing Jason's jacket to see the wound. There were multiple deep gashes and what looked to be an electric burn from his left chest to his left shoulder. Bruce clicked his com. "I need an ambulance. There's multiple deep gashes to his front along with what looks like an electric burn from the left of his chest to his shoulders."
Bruce felt for a pulse. "Pulse is weak. Barely there." Bruce leaned forward. Listening for breathing. "Shallow breathing." Jason gripped the jacket more. How long has Danny been like this? Why hadn't he looked for him sooner?! Jason hadn't noticed his panicked breathing until he was nudged.
Dick was behind him with a sad smile. Dick gently grabbed him and helped him stand. Bruce had laid Danny out and used Jason's jacket to keep the bleeding to a minimum. Jason felt numb as Dick had start pulling him away as sirens sounded. Jason went to shove away dick but was interrupted by Bruce.
"Go home and change. I'll tell you what hospital. But right now you're covered in blood and your Red Hood uniform. I need you to go change before meeting at the hospital okay?" Jason barely nodded. His eyes not leaving Danny's pale face as Dick pulls him away. Once outside Dick pulls Jason to a car and gently helps him inside.
The drive to Jason's closest safe house was quick and silent. Neither saying anything before Jason rushed inside to quickly change so he can get to the hospital. But as he undressed all Jason saw was blood. Danny's blood. Jason shook his head and physically threw the clothes off himself.
He was going to be burning those clothes. He couldn't stand looking at them. He ran into the bathroom and turned on the shower. Turning it to the hottest setting. He didn't care if his skin was burning. He needed to get the blood off. He needed it gone. He needed Danny's blood off him. He needed Danny to be okay. He needed his husband to be alive and safe.
Jason closed his eyes as the scolding water ran down his back. Danny's pale face appeared before Jason's eyes and he shook his head before quickly scrubbing himself and jumping out of the shower. He barely dried himself before rushing into the room.
He looked at where the pile of bloodied clothes laid and felt a small sense of relief when he noticed they were gone and clothes were laid out on the bed. Dick must've taken care of the clothes. Jason would have to thank him later when he.... When he knew his husband was okay. Jason doesn't know how he got from the safe house to the hospital.
He only knows that everything seems to be too loud and bright for his senses at the moment. When he finally sat down he was in a plastic chair used in hospital waiting rooms. He looked around. Dick was with him out of his Nightwing uniform. He was standing a short distance away on the phone. Either with Bruce or Kori. Letting them know the situation.
Jason took a deep breath and ran his hands through his hair. Just who had set up that Meeting with Danny? Danny always does a background check when someone wants to make an appointment with him. Had someone given a rogue Danny's meeting information? Jason's hands tightened in his hair. Whoever did this to his husband is going to pay. Big Time.
Jason flinched slightly as a hand patted his back. Dick had came back with a slight smile. He must've been talking to Kori then. "Have you heard anything?" Dick shook his head and Jason groaned softly. Dick's smile tightened before he removed Jason's hands from his hair. "I'm sure we'll get some information soon Jay. Just don't pull your hair out before we do okay?"
Jason didn't say anything. Just kept his eyes sweeping across the room. It felt like forever when a Doctor looking unsure. Jason jumped up as the Doctor came over. "Mr. Graysan. Mr. Todd." The Doctor nodded at them. Before he could say anything Jason already was asking questions. "Is Danny okay? Did he make it? Can I see him?!"
Dick carefully pulled Jason out of the Doctors face. Ignoring the thankful look Dick nodded. "Please answer him. He's not doing the best as you can see." The Doctor sent Jason a look of pity and Jason felt his body freeze. Please don't tell him...... "Mr. Daniel Todd came in with multiple deep gashes, broken bones, and a severe electrical burn mark. There were a few.... problems during surgery but we got the patient stable and in a room."
Jason released and sigh of relief. "That great can I see him??" The Doctor shifted and sent him a hesitate look. "You can... But I have to inform you of his condition..." Jason froze. "C-Condition?" The Doctor nodded with a frown. "Due to the head trauma and blood loss I'm afraid Mr. Daniel Todd has fallen into a coma..."
Jason felt his legs give out. If not for Dick he's sure he would've fallen to the floor. Oh Danny.... His poor Danny. If only he'd have looked for him sooner...maybe he wouldn't have been in such a bad condition. Jason heard only ringing as he was brought into Danny's hospital room. Jason sunk into the chair closest to the bed and gripped his husband's hand.
Please..... Please wake up soon.

November, 1944 ༊*·˚
The snow whipped sideways through the broken hull of the Valkyrie as Bucky fought his way down the corridor, gun in hand, pulse in his throat. The sound of metal creaking under pressure was almost louder than the gunfire outside. He ducked behind a wall as a HYDRA agent crumpled at Steve’s feet ahead of him, shield returning to his hand like a promise kept.
“Buck, we’re running out of time!” Steve’s voice called back, hoarse but firm.
Bucky shoved past the last stretch of wreckage and reached his side. The control panel was blinking red erratically. The auto-navigation was set. The plane was headed straight for civilisation, loaded with enough bombs to turn the Eastern Seaboard into ash.
Bucky grabbed his arm. “We can land it. There’s gotta be another way.”
Steve looked at him — really looked. The way he always did when he was about to do something reckless and noble and stupid.
“There’s not.”
“No—no, don’t pull this crap, Steve. You don’t get to be the hero again. Not without me. We do this together. We win this fight, together.”
“This way Buck, we can both be heroes,” Steve said quietly. “And it means you get to go home.”
Bucky shook his head furiously, trying to keep the panic from cracking open his chest. “No, not without you! You jump, I jump. Remember?”
Steve gave a weak smile. “That was when we were kids.”
“You’re still that kid. You just got bigger and—dumber. Stevie, don’t do this.”
Steve stepped past him and placed the shield gently in Bucky’s arms. The weight of it was staggering. “Take this. Keep it safe. For me.”
Bucky looked down at it, then up at Steve like he’d just handed him his own heart.
“Don’t make me bury you,” Bucky said, voice catching.
But Steve was already stepping into the cockpit. Already turning the radio dial.
“Peggy…” he said. “I’m gonna need a rain check on that dance.”
The signal cut.
“No—STEVE—” Bucky ran to the window, slamming his fist against the glass.
Below, the white expanse of the Arctic stretched endlessly. The plane veered slightly, then straightened.
Then silence.
Bucky stood there with the shield clutched to his chest and nothing but wind and grief in his lungs.
He didn’t even feel the snow melting in his hair as the rescue chopper came to pull him out.
— 𖤓 —
The Brooklyn streets felt smaller than you remembered, tighter and heavier like they were holding their breath. The autumn air smelled faintly of wood smoke and rain, but you barely noticed.
You waited by the window, heart pinned to the rhythm of every passing footstep and engine hum. When the old military jeep finally rattled down the block and stopped at the curb, you barely had time to steady yourself before the door swung open.
Bucky stepped out, taller, broader, but somehow smaller too. His face was hollowed, eyes like dark glass reflecting everything he wanted to forget. The weight of the war clung to him, dragging him down in slow motion.
He didn’t say a word. Just walked through the door and dropped his pack by the threshold.
You were there before he could shut it, arms wrapping around him, pulling him close like you could stop the world from spinning without Steve.
He sagged into you, forehead resting on your shoulder. The shield, still strapped to his back, felt impossibly heavy, like carrying the whole war on his shoulders.
“Steve...” His voice cracked, barely a whisper.
You squeezed him tighter. “I know, honey. I read about it in the paper. I know it hurts. But you’re here. You came home. And I am so glad to see you again.”
His breath hitched, a strangled sound. “It should have been me.”
“No,” you said softly, brushing damp strands of hair from his face. “You were supposed to come back. That’s why you’re here.”
He pulled back slightly, his eyes searching yours, desperate for something solid. “But I feel so empty without him. It’s been months and, God, how do I live like this? How do I carry his memory without breaking?”
You swallowed the lump in your throat. “You don’t have to carry it alone. Not anymore. You have me. I’m not going anywhere.”
Bucky’s gaze faltered, and he leaned into you again, resting his head on your chest this time. His hands clenched at your waist, trembling slightly.
“Can we just… go to bed?”
It was early noon, and the sun was still shining bright in the sky. The delicious scent of the roast dinner you had prepared for your boyfriend’s arrival filled the apartment, but Bucky didn’t have the appetite. He was so tired. In fact, this feeling was more than exhaustion. His whole body ached with mental torment.
You nodded, heart aching for the man that you loved so dearly. “Yes, let’s go to bed.”
Later, as the room grew quiet except for the rain tapping softly on the window, you held him close. His body was tense at first, like he was trying to hold himself together.
But eventually, he relaxed into you — breathing slowing, shoulders lowering.
You whispered against his hair, “You’re not alone, Buck. I’m right here.”
He didn’t answer, but you felt the tremble of his sigh against your skin.
And for the first time since the war, maybe since the plane crashed, Bucky let himself fall asleep — safe in your arms.
The morning light filtered through the curtains, soft and tentative. You stirred first, still cradling Bucky’s worn frame against your side. His breath was slow, steady — but his eyes remained closed, heavy with exhaustion that no sleep could fully erase.
You brushed a gentle hand along his cheek. “Buck, it’s morning.”
He blinked slowly, disoriented, before focusing on you. A ghost of a smile flickered, but it vanished almost immediately. “Feels like I never left the war.”
You kissed his forehead. “You’re home now. And I’m here.”
He squeezed your hand, then reluctantly shifted to sit up. The weight of reality settled back onto his shoulders. “I need to see her. Agent Carter. I have to.”
You nodded. “I’ll go with you.”
The drive from Brooklyn to Peggy’s office was silent, the hum of the engine the only thing filling the space between you. You stole glances at Bucky, sitting rigid and distant beside you, his jaw clenched tight, eyes staring out the window like he was somewhere far away — maybe trapped inside memories that wouldn’t let him go.
When the car stopped, he didn’t speak. Just opened the door and stepped out, the weight of the shield slung awkwardly on his back.
You fell into step beside him as he approached the building, every footstep slow and deliberate.
Peggy was waiting by the door when you arrived. Her smile was warm but guarded, the kind that tried to hide the layers beneath.
“Bucky,” she said softly, stepping forward. “I’m so glad you’re okay.”
Bucky gave a stiff nod but didn’t smile back. Instead, his eyes darkened, searching hers like he was expecting something—an apology, an explanation, maybe a reason to hate her.
“I heard,” he said quietly, voice rough, “that you’re seeing someone.”
Peggy’s smile faltered for a fraction of a second, then she nodded. “It’s been months. I had to move on.”
“Months.” The word hit the air like a slap. Bucky’s voice rose, sharp and bitter. “And here I am, stuck with the ghost of Steve every damn day. You just… moved on? Like it was easy? Like he was nothing but some chapter you closed?”
Peggy took a step closer, voice low but steady. “It’s not easy, Bucky. None of this is. But holding onto pain forever? That doesn’t bring him back.”
Bucky’s eyes flashed with anger, pain bleeding through the fury. “I can’t do it, Peggy. I don’t want to live in a world without him. And you… you act like it’s nothing.”
“I’m not acting like anything,” Peggy said quietly. “I’m surviving. And you have to find a way to do that too.”
His hands balled into fists, knuckles white beneath the leather of his gloves. “Maybe I don’t want to survive.”
You stepped forward, placing your hand gently on his arm. “Bucky, please. This isn’t you.”
He jerked away, the distance between you suddenly palpable. His voice broke, raw and heavy with grief. “I’m lost. I’m empty. I’m just the one who came back.”
Peggy looked at you both, the weight of the moment sinking into her eyes. “He needs time.”
You nodded, swallowing the ache in your throat. “And I’m not going anywhere.”
Outside the office, the cold air hit your faces. Bucky lit a cigarette, the smoke curling around him like a shield. You didn’t say anything. Sometimes, words weren’t enough.
But you stayed.
And you would keep staying.
— 𖤓 —
The room was quiet except for the ticking of the clock on the wall. Bucky sat stiffly in the chair across from the council of SHIELD officials and military brass, the shield resting heavily on the floor beside him.
“Sergeant Barnes,” one of the officials began, voice measured but firm, “With Captain Rogers’ sacrifice, the mantle of Captain America is open. We believe you are the man to carry on his legacy.”
Bucky’s jaw tightened. He swallowed hard, shaking his head before the words could even form.
“I can’t,” he said, voice low but steady. “Steve was... Steve. I’m not him. I’m not the man he was.”
“You don’t have to be him,” another officer said carefully. “But you have his courage. His heart. That’s why we’re asking you.”
Bucky looked down at the shield, fingers brushing the familiar curves as if seeking reassurance.
“It’s not about courage,” Bucky whispered. “It’s about what I’ve lost. What I carry. How I failed him.”
You stepped forward, heart pounding but voice clear. “Bucky, listen to me.”
All eyes turned to you.
“You don’t have to be Steve. Nobody expects that. But you have something Steve never had—a second chance to choose who you want to be.”
You reached for his hand, squeezing gently. “I see the man behind the shield. The one who survived hell and still wants to do right. That’s who you are. That’s who you’ve always been.”
He looked up, eyes glimmering with unshed tears and a flicker of hope.
“I’m not asking you to replace Steve. I’m asking you to be you. Bucky Barnes: Captain America.”
Bucky swallowed, the tension in his shoulders easing just a fraction. The shield seemed lighter now—not a burden, but a promise. And with you by his side, maybe he could finally start to believe that.
The evening was quiet, the city lights glowing softly outside your apartment window. Bucky sat on the edge of the couch, the shield resting against the wall beside him. You sat close, fingers intertwined, the silence between you full of unspoken pain and hope.
He looked down at the shield, then back at you. “What if I fail? What if I’m not worthy?”
You cupped his face, thumb brushing the scars that mapped his past. “You’re not alone anymore. You have me. And every step you take, I’ll be right there with you.”
Bucky’s breath hitched, a tremor in his hands as he reached out and took the shield.
“This is your fight now,” you said softly. “Not Steve’s. Yours. And he believed you to be worthy. That has to count for something.”
He lifted it, the weight familiar but different — not a burden, but a promise.
“I’ll try,” he said, voice thick with emotion. “For Steve… and for us.”
You smiled through tears, pulling him into a tight embrace. “That’s all I need.”
— 𖤓 —
Months turned into seasons, and seasons into years. The shield, once a symbol of loss and burden, became a beacon of hope—not just for the world, but for Bucky himself.
Each morning began with gruelling training sessions. You watched from the sidelines sometimes, heart swelling and aching as he pushed himself harder, fighting against the ghosts of his past. The serum courses through his veins now, slowing time’s cruel march, halting the wear of years, but it couldn’t erase the memories.
When the missions came, you were there—patching bruises, cleaning wounds, and more importantly, listening. Your apartment became a sanctuary where he could lay down his armour and just be Bucky, the man who loved fiercely and fought for what was right.
One night, after a particularly brutal day, he collapsed into your arms, exhaustion and pain heavy in his body.
“I’m scared,” he whispered, voice raw. “Scared I’ll lose myself in this role. That the war will never leave me.”
You kissed his temple gently. “You won’t lose yourself. You’ll become stronger. And I’m not going anywhere.”
Together, you learned to navigate the balance—between duty and peace, past and future. And slowly, the cracks in his soul began to heal.
Years had softened the sharp edges of pain. The apartment in Brooklyn was filled with laughter, warmth, and the quiet chaos of everyday life — a far cry from the battles and ghosts that once ruled Bucky’s world.
You stood in the kitchen, watching him play with your children in the living room. His laughter was a sound you never thought you’d hear again — pure, unburdened, alive.
He caught your eye and smiled, that old familiar spark lighting up his eyes.
“Did you ever think we’d get here?” he asked, voice thick with emotion.
You crossed the room and took his hand. “I believed in us. Even when you didn’t.”
He pulled you close, pressing a kiss to your forehead. “You saved me.”
“No,” you whispered, “we saved each other.”
Though the past was never far, it no longer ruled him. The serum had slowed time, but it was your love, your home, your family that healed his heart.
Together, you built a life — one filled with hope, honour, and the quiet strength of two souls who chose each other every day.
March, 2014 ༊*·˚
The city was slick with rain, neon lights flickering off wet pavement. Bucky’s breath came steady, the chill biting through his coat, but his heart was anything but calm. Years had passed since you were gone — since he lost the person who anchored him, who taught him to believe in himself again. But time was a trickster, and now it had thrown him the cruelest of all cards.
Captain Hydra.
The name sent a shiver down his spine.
They didn’t just steal his body — they rewrote his soul.
After his sacrifice in 1944, Steve Rogers was presumed dead. But Hydra found him, broken and near death, entombed in Arctic ice. Where the world would have honoured him, Hydra saw something else: potential. A symbol of hope they could twist into a weapon of fear.
He was defrosted in a sterile underground bunker, strapped to a metal chair under buzzing lights. No familiar faces. No freedom. Only pain.
They tortured him physically at first — electric shocks, isolation, sleep deprivation. But Steve was strong. Too strong. So they shifted tactics.
They went after his mind.
They whispered lies until they sounded like truth. Played him recordings over and over again — false missions, fake betrayals, a rewritten history where Hydra saved the world. Where Bucky died by his hand. Where Peggy betrayed him. Where America never deserved Captain America in the first place.
Then came the chair — crude, cold, invasive. They carved into Steve’s memories, overwriting his morality with obedience. Replacing his ideals with loyalty to Hydra.
By the time they froze him again — their perfect soldier, preserved like a monster in ice — there was no Captain America left.
Only Captain Hydra.
Over the next seventy years, they thawed him out when they needed him. Silent. Deadly. Efficient. A myth of his own. The shield he once carried now bore Hydra’s crest — a mockery of what he once stood for.
Bucky’s hands clenched his shield at his side as he navigated the shadowed alley, the memory of your voice still whispering in his mind. I’m with you. Always.
He had to find Steve. Had to reach him before Hydra’s grip destroyed what was left.
And then, there he was.
Steve stood tall beneath the flickering streetlamp, his new Hydra insignia gleaming coldly on his chestplate. His shield—once a symbol of hope—was now twisted, bearing Hydra’s emblem.
Bucky stepped forward, voice low but urgent. “Steve.”
Steve’s eyes snapped to him, sharp and hostile. “You shouldn’t have come here, Bucky.”
The words stung, but Bucky forced himself to stay steady.
“I came because you’re not who they want you to be.”
Steve’s face twisted in anger. “I’m nothing like you anymore. I’m Hydra’s soldier.”
“No,” Bucky said, taking another step closer, “You’re Steve Rogers. The man who stood for something bigger than himself. You didn’t choose this.”
Steve raised his shield defensively, but Bucky didn’t flinch. Instead, he dropped his own shield to the ground, palms open in a gesture of peace.
“Remember the Brooklyn streets? The dreams we shared? You taught me what it meant to fight with honour—” Bucky’s voice cracked, the weight of decades pressing down. “You were my brother. My best friend. You saved me. And now, I’m here to save you.”
Steve’s eyes flickered—confusion, pain—before they hardened again. “I don’t know you.”
“You do,” Bucky said softly, stepping even closer. “I’m not going to fight you. You’re my friend.”
Steve grimaced before a wicked smile flashed across his lips, and he brought his fist to Bucky, slamming it into his ribs. “You’re my mission.”
“Then finish it,” Bucky gasped. “Because I’m with you... until the end of the line.”
A beat of silence.
Then, like a dam breaking, Steve’s expression shattered. The coldness in his eyes flickered, replaced by a flash of the man Bucky remembered—his Steve.
His guard dropped just slightly, shield lowering.
Bucky reached out, voice gentle but firm, “Come back. Fight with me. Not for Hydra, but for us.”
Steve’s breath caught, the battle inside him raging. Memories surged—your laughter, the nights you stayed up comforting Bucky, the promises made on rain-soaked rooftops.
“Bucky...” Steve whispered, voice thick with emotion, “I don’t know who I am anymore.”
“You’re the man who never gave up,” Bucky said, gripping Steve’s shoulder. “And I never gave up on you.”
For the first time in decades, Steve let the walls fall.
Bucky held him tight, feeling the tremors of his old friend come back to life. The storm inside Steve began to calm, replaced by the fragile, fierce hope of redemption.
And though you were no longer there, your love had never left — it lived on in Bucky’s strength, in their bond, in the promise to stand together… until the end of the line.

FIERCE ALLEGIANCE
Chapter 8: Revelations and Resolutions
Summary: After the Sekai Taikai, Y/N focuses on training, trying to move forward from the past, but a surprising discovery puts everything in question. As old connections fade and new alliances form, Y/N finds herself navigating a complicated web of emotions and unexpected twists. With the Sekai Taikai looming once more, she faces decisions that could change everything, even if she’s not ready for it.

The months after Sekai Taikai had been brutal.
Y/N trained like her life depended on it. Every day, every hour, pushing herself to exhaustion. She didn’t know what she was training for, but she knew that stopping meant thinking. And thinking meant remembering.
Wolf. Barcelona.
The way his hands felt on her skin, the way his voice dropped when he said her name. The way neither of them had said goodbye.
She didn’t know if he was still with Silver or if he had finally let go. But she never reached out, and neither did he. Whatever they had—whatever it was—had ended the second she left his hotel room.
But Silver wasn’t done. He had disappeared after the chaos at Sekai Taikai, but now, months later, he made his move. And nobody saw it coming. Not until the anniversary of LaRusso Auto. Y/N had been standing by the entrance, laughing at something Devon said, when a familiar voice made her freeze.
“…and you know this is the right choice, Johnny.” Her stomach twisted violently as she turned and saw Johnny stepping out of a black car. And right behind him was Terry Silver. A sick feeling settled in her gut.
She caught Johnny’s arm before he could disappear inside. “What the hell was that?” Johnny exhaled sharply, running a hand down his face. “You saw?”
“I saw you step out of a car with Terry Silver.” She crossed her arms. “And you look like you just agreed to something really stupid.” Johnny hesitated, glancing around before lowering his voice. “He’s getting Sekai Taikai back on.”
Her breath caught. No one had even heard rumors about it returning. How the hell had Silver pulled that off? “What did you agree to?” she asked, voice tight.
Johnny shifted, clearly uncomfortable. “He played dirty. Said if I didn’t come back, Cobra Kai would take over—no competition. And you know Daniel’s not gonna agree to it, so—” “So you said yes,” she finished, her heart pounding. Johnny sighed. “Look, I know it sounds bad, but this way, we don’t let him win.”
But she wasn’t listening anymore. Her mind was already somewhere else. Someone else. She didn’t even think. Her fingers were already dialing. The line rang once. Twice. Then it picked up. But it wasn’t Wolf’s voice she heard. It was a girl’s.
A confused, “Hello?” Y/N didn’t say a word. She just hung up.
Y/N’s fingers hovered over her phone screen, her body practically vibrating with frustration. So that was it? He’d just moved on?
It had been months, sure, but she’d been training, pushing herself to the limit, trying to drown out the ache in her chest. And him? He had another girl answering his phone.
Her stomach twisted. She thought what they had was something real. Something different. Now she felt like an idiot.
Her blood boiled, and if someone looked close enough, they’d probably see smoke coming out of her ears like she was some cartoon character on the verge of exploding. She needed a distraction. Something.
Or someone. Her gaze flickered to her contacts. Robby.
Tory had broken up with him because of Zara’s antics at the Sekai Taikai, and Y/N knew that whatever this was, whatever she needed—he’d go along with it. She tapped out a message before she could second-guess herself.
Y/N: You home?
Robby: Yeah, what’s up?
Y/N: Can I come over?
A slight pause.
Robby: Sure.
That was all she needed. She grabbed her keys and was out the dealership before she could think too much about it.
Robby had no idea what was coming when he opened the door. He leaned against the frame, brow furrowed, taking in the way Y/N stood stiffly on his doorstep, arms crossed, jaw clenched like she was barely holding herself together. "Hey," he said, stepping aside. "Come in."
She walked past him without a word, heading straight for the couch and sinking onto it like the weight of the world had finally caught up with her. Robby sat down next to her, watching her closely. “Alright, what’s going on?”
She exhaled sharply, running a hand through her hair before looking over at him. "You don’t know, do you?" "Clearly not." A humorless laugh left her lips. "Figures."
His brows knitted together. "Y/N, what the hell happened?" She stared at the floor for a second before finally saying it. “I was with Wolf.” Robby blinked. “Sensei Wolf? Like… at the Sekai Taikai?”
She swallowed, meeting his gaze. "More than that." Realization flickered across his face, followed by something unreadable. He leaned back against the couch. "Damn." "Yeah," she muttered.
He rubbed a hand over his face. "And you're telling me this now?" She let out a bitter chuckle. "Not exactly something I wanted to bring up over training sessions and group dinners." Fair point. Robby sighed, turning to face her fully. "Alright, tell me everything." So she did.
She told him about Barcelona, about the stolen moments, the fights, the kisses that never should’ve happened but did anyway. She told him about how it all ended, how she thought it was really over—until tonight.
Until she called him, and another girl answered. "And now," she finished, her voice tight, "I don’t know what to feel. I shouldn't care, but I do. I shouldn't want to call him again, but I do. And I hate it."
Robby was quiet for a moment, absorbing everything. Then he let out a long breath. "That’s… a lot." “No shit.” His lips twitched like he wanted to smile, but he didn’t. Instead, he said, “You were really into him, huh?”
Y/N swallowed. “Yeah.” "And you think he didn’t feel the same?" She scoffed. "I don’t know what he felt. Maybe it was real, maybe it was convenient. Either way, it doesn’t matter now."
Robby tilted his head, studying her. "If it doesn’t matter, why are you here?" She hesitated. "Because I didn’t know where else to go." Something in his expression softened. "You could’ve just said that." She let out a breath she didn’t realize she was holding.
They sat there for a while, the silence between them heavy but not uncomfortable. Eventually, Robby nudged her knee with his. "You wanna go hit a punching bag until your hands are sore?"
She gave him a small smirk. "Tempting." He grinned. "Or, we could watch some dumb action movie, and you can pretend that every villain is Wolf and that every punch to the face is karma working in your favor."
Now that sounded nice. She nudged him back. "You’re a decent friend, Keene." He smirked. "I try."
The movie was halfway through when Robby tossed a handful of popcorn at Y/N’s head. She barely flinched, just slowly turned to glare at him. “Really?” He grinned. “You weren’t paying attention.” She sighed, sinking further into the couch. "Sorry, it's hard to focus when my brain is running laps around itself." "Still thinking about him?" She shot him a look. "Did you think one movie was gonna erase that?" Robby shrugged. "Hey, worth a shot."
She exhaled, slumping back into the cushions. "I just… I hate that he got to move on so easily. Like I was nothing." "You don’t know that he moved on," Robby pointed out. "You know that he was with another girl. Big difference." She frowned. "Semantics."
"Think about it. What if he wasn't over you? What if he was just trying to distract himself the same way you are?" She considered that, but the thought didn’t make her feel any better. Robby, meanwhile, sat up a little straighter, a glint in his eye. "You know, if the Sekai Taikai gets back on…"
She turned her head to him. "What?" A smirk pulled at his lips. "We could have a little fun with this." She narrowed her eyes. "Define ‘fun.’" His smirk grew. "Let’s make him jealous." Y/N blinked. "You can’t be serious."
"Why not?" Robby stretched his arms over the back of the couch. "You wanna get in his head? Show him what it feels like? This is the way to do it." She hesitated, rolling the thought around in her mind. Would it work?
Wolf was possessive, even when he had no right to be. The idea of her and Robby—someone he already had a complicated history with—would drive him insane.
A slow, mischievous smile tugged at her lips. Robby caught it and grinned. “There she is.” "You think it’ll actually work?" she asked. He shrugged. "Only one way to find out." She hummed, pretending to consider it. "You sure you can handle playing my fake boyfriend?"
He scoffed. "Please, you should be asking yourself if you can handle it." She laughed, shaking her head. "Alright, Keene. Let’s do this." They clinked their soda cans together like it was some kind of official deal, and for the first time since making that call, Y/N felt in control.
That night, the party at LaRusso Auto was in full swing, laughter and chatter filling the dealership as people celebrated another successful year. But Y/N, Miguel, Sam, and Robby had their minds on something else.
After Daniel’s speech, they pulled him aside, their expressions serious.
Miguel spoke first. "Hey, Mr. LaRusso, we need to know… is the Sekai Taikai back on?"
Daniel glanced between them, his lips pressing together. Then, with a heavy sigh, he nodded. "Yes. If that’s what you all want."
A beat of silence passed before Sam squared her shoulders, her eyes flashing with determination. "Bring ‘em on."
And just like that, it was official.
As soon as Sam’s words settled in the air, Robby and Y/N exchanged a knowing glance. Without a word, they raised their champagne glasses and clinked them together—just like they had the night before.
The plan was on.
